Stoke Park Wedding Photography

History of Stoke Park

Stoke Park has always been a place for families to escape, and to enjoy the luxuries of life in elegant surroundings.  Stoke Park is also one of my favourite places to capture the most incredible wedding photography images! At every turn there are so many breathtaking vistas to enjoy, it really is a majestic jewel in this rural Buckinghamshire landscape.

For most of its existence it has been in private hands. Some of the most famous people in British history have visited this beautiful site. This 5 star luxury country club is an unbelievably beautiful wedding venue! Stoke Park has been the backdrop to many movies and TV programmes, including two James Bond films. Goldfinger (1964) and Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) have been filmed at the Club.

Photographing weddings at Stoke Park

Stoke Park Club is such a wonderful venue for a wedding, and for photography options it doesn’t get any better! The amazing architectural features, high ceilings, chandeliers and huge opulent rooms are just stunning! I so hope my wedding pictures above do this amazing venue the justice it deserves.

As for my favourite photography backdrops at Stoke Park, I’m not sure where to start! The wonderful Capability Brown landscaped gardens are a great starting point, but the majestic interiors are pretty stunning too!

The Repton Bridge with the iconic venue in the background is pretty special, as is the sweeping staircase in the Great Hall with its huge chandeliers and fabulous paintings. Stoke Park wedding couples can even use the venue’s golf buggies to scoot around some of their gorgeous outdoor backdrops. This is great fun, and you’ll see several informal photographs of bridal parties on the golf buggies in my gallery above.
