Stoke Park Wedding Photography

Photographing weddings at Stoke Park

Stoke Park Club is such a wonderful venue for wedding photography. There are so many options for pictures; the amazing architectural features, high ceilings, chandeliers and huge opulent rooms are just stunning! I hope my wedding pictures above do this amazing venue the justice it deserves.

Stoke Park has always been a place for families to escape to and enjoy the luxuries of life in elegant surroundings. For most of its existence it has been a private estate owned and visited by some of the most famous people in British history. However, over 100 years ago it was transformed through the vision of one man into a luxury country club, the likes of which had not been seen in this country before. This 5 star hotel is one of Britain’s finest, and it is one unbelievably beautiful wedding venue!

Stoke Park has been the backdrop to many movies and TV programmes, including two James Bond films. Goldfinger (1964) and Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) have been filmed at the Club.

As for my favourite photography backdrops at Stoke Park, I’m not sure where to start with this fabulous venue and its wonderful Capability Brown landscaped gardens! The Repton Bridge with the iconic venue in the background is pretty special, as is the sweeping staircase in the Great Hall with its huge chandeliers and fabulous paintings. Another great picture option – Stoke Park wedding couples can make the most of the venue’s golf buggies to scoot around some of their gorgeous outdoor backdrops, this is great fun and you’ll see several informal photographs of bridal parties on the golf buggies in my gallery above.
