Waddesdon Manor Engagement Portrait Photography – Hannah & Adam

Stately Home Portraits

Waddesdon Manor is one of my absolute favourite stately homes, and I enjoyed photographing the engagement portraits for Hannah and Adam there recently. For couples getting married at either The Dairy or the Five Arrows on the Estate, they have the huge added bonus of being able to have their engagement pictures captured at the Manor House itself.

Engagement Portrait At Waddesdon Manor

Last weekend (February) I took the engagement photographs for Hannah & Adam at Waddesdon Manor.  The secret to getting the very best out of these stunning backdrops is to gain access before the paying public arrive, and the early start for Hannah & Adam’s pictures effectively gave us exclusive use for the hour.

Hannah & Adam’s fun loving nature and their total love for one another made my job so much easier, and their personalities have shone through beautifully in this collection of images. I find it surreal when we are the only people in the gardens of such a famous stately home; the early morning start is definitely worth the effort! As we wrapped up the photo-shoot under perfect blue skies, the first bus load of visitors arrived and the tranquillity of the past hour was shattered.

These guys were absolute naturals in front of the camera, making this one of favourite engagement sessions of late. As you can see, they are totally, madly, deeply in love. The smiles in the photos below really do speak for themselves.

Photographing their portrait session was such a pleasure, and I’m looking forward to their Waddesdon Manor wedding!

Kind Words

Dear Mark

What a fantastic shoot! You had us both feeling comfortable right from the start of the session. You had plenty of really helpful tips and tricks to ensure that we got the best out of the day.

Your knowledge of Waddesdon Manor is second to none, making the session flow smoothly and efficiently. We genuinely felt that we could be ourselves and not think too much about the camera. This really helped to get the natural images that we were after.

We couldn’t be happier with the photos that you captured, and picking our favourites from all of those great options was certainly a tricky task! Thanks again for all of your help and advice through the planning stage of our wedding, and we are looking forward to seeing you again on the big day!
