History of the Five Arrows Hotel Waddesdon

Built in 1887 to house skilled artisans working on the Rothschilds’ Waddesdon Manor Estate, this gorgeous hotel is a unique by-product of its history. Its architecture is a delightful mix of authentic English styles, with elaborate Elizabethan style chimneys and wrought ironwork. In fact, the influence of the Rothschilds is evident in the wrought iron Five Arrows signage and monogrammed garden chairs.

After the completion of the manor The Five Arrows became a coaching inn. The newly refurbished interiors give the rooms a stylish, cosy country house feel. As well, the National Trust maintain the pretty gardens. As a result it is the most perfect place for al fresco drinks and dining or an intimate civil wedding celebration in the Old Coach House.

Photographing weddings at the Five Arrows Hotel Waddesdon

The Five Arrows Hotel have been recommending me as a wedding photographer for several years. So, in my wedding photography gallery of the Five Arrows you’ll see many fabulous pictures. My favourite backdrop has to be the beautifully maintained building itself. It’s so rare to see this level of craftsmanship on a smaller property.

If you book the Five Arrows Hotel for your wedding, you can visit Waddesdon Manor for some pictures. The gorgeous manor house and extensive gardens give you the opportunity for so many more photography backdrops.

So, if you’d like to discuss your Five Arrows Hotel wedding photography requirements, I’d love to hear from you.
