Notley Tythe Barn Wedding Photography

Photographing weddings at Notley Tythe Barn

Wedding photography at Notley Tythe Barn is a joy, with beautiful backdrops both in the barn and the surrounding farmland. This 12th Century barn nestles in the quintessential Chiltern Hills on the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire border.

My favourite backdrop is the beautiful interior of the 12th Century barn.  I also like using the rustic stone walls, as the warmth of the limestone adds such a fabulous glow to my work.

On one of my favourite weddings, the couple opted for an outdoor ceremony. As a result, I captured some beautiful photographs with the backdrop of the Buckinghamshire farmland rolling hills.

I hope my picture gallery does this lovely barn venue justice! If you’d like to discuss your photography requirements, I’d love to hear from you.  If you’d like to learn more about hosting your wedding at Notley Tythe Barn click here.

History of Notley Tythe Barn

The Reynolds family have been farming Notley for over 350 years. Most recently, after extensive restoration works to the 12th Century barn, they’ve been hosting weddings for almost 30 years.

As a result, the barn has a new lease of life as it echoes to the sound of wedding celebrations rather than the toil of harvesting farm workers.

Original beams frame this wonderfully high ceilinged barn, and the huge doors open into the gardens. Finally, the farmland and the rolling Chiltern Hills complete the fabulous vista.
